The trickling rain falls softly down on the weather beaten roof. I slowly sink into the soft bed beneath me. I look toward the aged window. Looking out of the warm, cosy, protective room, I see the top of the thick lush emerald green hedge. Glassy water dribbles off the tips of the smooth leaves. I watch. Another drip comes. Again and again. Beyond the hedge I see the cold misty blue lake. Small white caps appear as the wailing wind gets stronger. I see the cloudy grey mountains on the other side of the lake faintly in the distance. Lights in the mountains flicker as the small town drifts in to a deep sleep.
Scientific Report
Aim
The aim was to find out if the candle on the cork boat would stay a light when placed in a vase filled with water, vinegar and bicarbonate of soda. HypothesisOur hypothesis was that we thought the flame would stay alight if we poured the vinegar in without pouring it onto the flame.
Materials/Equipment
Cork
Matches
Vinegar
Bicarbonate Of Soda
Vase
Candle
Water
Method
To carry out this investigation you will need to fill a vase with water and stir in Bicarbonate of soda. Then place your boat in the vase. Then light the candle on the boat. Pour in vinegar with out getting the candle wet. ResultsThe flame went out as a effect of the vinegar and bicarbonate of soda creating carbon dioxide.
Conclusion
Our hypothesis was incorrect. The flame did go out because of the carbon dioxide meaning that there wasn’t enough oxygen for the flame to burn.
Analysis
Next time we should measure how much stuff we’re putting in.
Myst III
The dark crimson walls curl around me as I push through the ivy covered doors to Atrus’s study. There’s a huge window in the wall looking out to the abandoned red rocks where I’d been standing just before. A desk stands in front of me with books, a photo of Atrus’s two sons and a test tube filled with a yellow liquid. Atrus comes out from somewhere and explains to me about his unfinished books, books that lead to another world, another universe entirely. Old tables standing in different areas of the room are cluttered with old books. Another man appears. His ragged hair hangs from his head. He’s wearing old rags and has bare feet. His dirty hands grab Releesha and he throws a fireball at Atrus then he disappears into thin air.

And Eating Toblerone
My shoes are soaked
My legs are aching
I need water for my throat
Peoples spirits are braking
My heart races faster
While I do the opposite
I dream of juice and pasta
