Homework
Hi Everyone,
This is where I’ll be putting my homework each week. I hope you like it!
HOMEWORK WEEK 10
Reflection On Camp
The most valuable learning I did at camp was probably when Lesley and Aaron were talking to us about having tolerance for other people. It meant for example if someone in your group kept doing things wrong or was annoying you, you need to give them a chance and help them and not get angry with them.
It was tricky for me to learn to mountain board because I kept getting nervous so I would go slow but then I’d run out of speed and I’d stop!
A strategy I used to overcome my challenges was to persevere, keep trying and believing I could do it.
My favorite moment in time was definitely when we went rock climbing and I got to the very top of the hard one.![]()
Homework Week 6 Term 2
Science Fair Reflection!
What went well:
I think that my timing went quite well. What I mean is I didn’t leave it all to the last minute, I did like a bit every 1 or 2 nights. I think that was good because I could do each thing the best I could and it wasn’t rushed.
What would I do differently next time:
Next time I would Probably choose a different topic because I think mine was a bit basic. I would also definitely change the font of my header because a lot of people found it hard to read! I would of also included information on my survey!
What did I find tricky or hard:
I found it hard to calculate the costs of the homemade detergent!!! I also found it hard to think of my topic!
What science did I learn:
I learnt that for it to be a fair test you could only have one variable.
Did I think like a scientist:
I’m not really too sure but I think I did. Because when I was doing my experiment I always checked that I was doing everything the same for each wash like using cold wash on low water level.
What did you really enjoy:
I really enjoyed working on the presentation!!! I also liked going to school on Tuesday morning and seeing everyone elses projects. I actually liked the whole thing!
What advice would I give to students next year before they start their science fair projects:
I would tell them that if they are going to work in a pair they need to be able to work together. I would also tell them not to rush but to be sensible about when they are working on their projects like not at night when your tired and might make silly mistakes so probably like after school. But I would also tell them not to leave it to the last minute.
