Hi Everyone
Today we all took in our science fair projects. It was really fun looking at everyone elses projects. We had Rose as a teacher because Lesley is sick. At lunch Me and some other girls painted some of the boards for art back.I actually changed the name of the toys I made to cuties! I made some more and here they are!

Hi Everyone
Today at school we had assembly and it ran 20 minutes late!!!!!! We didn’t get much time for sewing so Lesley just showed us some fabrics that we can use for our toys. I really want to use the light green but I also want to use that like swirly one that Amy has except they won’t go together!
At science rotation we were with Joanie. Our aim was to find out what would happen when we added salt to water canola oil and food colouring. We first filled 3/4 of a jar with water. Then we added 25mls of canola oil. When we did that it bubbled a bit but only when we were pouring it because as soon as we stopped pouring the oil sat still on top of the water. Next we added 2 drops of food colouring. Our group chose blue and the food colouring also sat dead still in the oil and it didn’t spread or anything! We then sprinkled in salt and it went all bubbly!

Today at science with Aaron we did an experiment on how fast sugar dissolves into water. Our variable was the amount of water in each cup. We had one cup with 50 ml a cup with 100 ml and a cup with 150 ml. I learnt that the sugar crystals don’t actually disappear, the water was actually pushing through the crystal and forcing tiny bits of the sugar crystal to chip off.
I am probably going to do the no talking forty hour famine. I already have 1 person who said they will sponsor me but I haven’t asked my parents yet if I could do it but if they say yes they will probably sponsor me as well.
After school Lesley, William Imogen and I were trying to get the baby mice out of the cage and into the ovo. I had to leave though (sorry Lesley!) Because Lesley was going to take the babies to the pet store to see if they could tell if there was any girls. I really want to keep the half brown one and half white one. I actually want to keep any of them!!!
Bye for now!

Today was our first sewing lesson. It was really fun! We learnt how to do normal stitching and we learnt how to do backstitching. We practiced on embroidery material. We are going to learn how to sew little Mr. Bloggys! I’m going to practice some sewing this weekend. I hope we can get the extension to the mouse cage. I really want to find out if one of the baby’s is a girl so that we can keep one. It would be so cool if they were all girls because then we could beg Lesley to let us keep them all!!! Their cage is going to be any mouse’s dream if we get the extension ovo thing.
