Georges Secret Key To The Universe is the book that our class has been reading recently and we have only got a few pages left and I really want to finish it! Then we are going to read a book called The Name Of This Book Is A Secret.
The last 3 days have been really fun. On Monday We did the blog awards and Marko and I came 1st equal, Kate and James came 2nd equal. My toy was the cat! YAY! There’s a photo of it at the bottom of this post.I don’t know what to call it yet though!!!! Leave a comment if you have a name and I’ll choose one soon! After school on Monday I did lot’s of work on my speech! On Tuesday at school we did lot’s of portfolio work and we started our sketches. At lunch we had sewing class and I’ve nearly finished my toys face. I’m doing mine on the lion cubs face. After school on Tuesday I had ballet and I wore my new leg warmers. They’re really warm! Today at school we did some maths sheets for our portfolio and we also did some 1 minute speeches in the morning. In the middle block we did SSR and then we played a long round of silent ball. We also did some more work on our sketches. At lunch Julia, Emily and I cleaned out the mouse cages. After lunch we did some of our Dean Buchanan art work and I finished mine. I put some pastel and vivid on it to make certain bits stand out and now I’m really happy with it! 
Lesley told me to go and show Sheryl and I got a principals award for it! After art we had to go to the hall to have a senior school meeting for winter sports day. I’m doing netball and my team is going as the B team and I’m actually really glad because we will get to verse much easier teams so hopefully we’ll win more games!

This weekend was so busy!!!
On Friday after school I was walking over to my mum and brother thinking what on earth am I going to do this weekend?!?!?! Then My mum Said Rosa, “I’ve got a nice surprise for you” and I was thinking ‘Oh, a lemonade ice block.’ But then she said. You are going to the ballet. I was thinking what are you telling me this for and why is it such a nice surprise I already know I’ve got ballet practice after school. Then she said Rosa, your going to Romeo and Juliet with Julia after ballet practice with Julia shouldn’t you be excited and then I was like ” YIPEEEE”!!!! because I had finally realised. So Romeo and Juliet was really really good! Mum gave me some money to buy ice creams for everyone and she said don’t worry about bringing back any change so… Julia and I both got an ice-cream a poster and I also got a pencil case. My favourite people in it were Juliet and Romeo’s friend. Then on Saturday I stayed the night at my grandmothers house. She took me to this shop called Zany it’s so cool! I bought an electric pencil sharpener, a pen holder, ribbon, heart paper clips and pens. Then in the morning she took me to Mamma Mia! the movie. It’s really good! I loved it. On Sunday afternoon I had choir.

Sorry I didn’t put post much over the holidays.
This term we are doing speeches! YAY!!!! Today Julia and I had to clean out the mouse cage. It was Kates birthday today and Mia had made her a cake. It was really yum. Thanks Mia!

It’s the holidays! I wish it wasn’t raining though! I hate being stuck inside and eventually I have to admit you do get bored watching tv and reading books and drawing and stuff like that but oh well, I’m going to stay on Mt. Ruapehu next week and we’re going to go skiing. So… Technically it’s probably going to be worse weather up there (snow) but at least we can still go outside when it’s snowing! Anyway we might go to the movies one day this week or Kelly Tarltons something like that any way!

Today we went to motat to the science road show. It was fun. We got to play with all these weird things! We didn’t go in the tactile dome. 
Tomorrow is Ella’s Shared lunch. We will miss you so much Ella!

Today was the character parade. I went with Mia as the twins at St. Clares. I really liked Bens costume! I won a book for the poster competition. Lesley was Pippi long stockings. Sheryl was the Paper Bag Princess. Donna was Clifford. Michelle was someone from India.

Yesterday afternoon I went to the wave pools with Mia. It was so fun. They didn’t turn the waves on though.
We standing under the buckets that tipped over on you and we kept diving for them when another bucket was going to tip!
We went in the bit that goes round in a loop and there is this really big bubbly bit in it and if you lie on it you float!

Today we had our flight to Jupiter!
It was sooooooooooo fun! Lesley bought Juice, Chips and Lollipops! I was a customs officer. We were allowed to wear our pyjamas to school and bring a soft toy! We watched Nims Island. We used Harrys Flight simulator to take off and land!
It was the 2nd hand book sale today and I bought 8 books! Except lots of them were for my little sister!
